HUNGARY: French Auchan to plough US$500m into Hungarian retail chain
French retail giant Auchan has revealed plans to invest around US$500m in its chain of grocery stores in Hungary. According to Jean-Paul Filliat, head of the company's operations in Hungary, the investment will see the chain expand from two outlets to twelve over the next five years.
