Danone Tejtermek Gyarto es Forgalmazo, the Hungarian subsidiary of French dairy group Danone, has posted a 1% slide in 2002 turnover to 19.9bn forints (US$87.3m).

The company said an increase in domestic sales was not enough to offset the drop in exports, reported the Hungarian News Digest.
Danone controls a 29.7% share of the Hungarian fresh milk and milk products market and 67.5% of the yoghurt market.
