Fraser and Neave, the Singapore-based food and beverage group, has appointed Bennett Neo to the newly-created post of chief executive of its food business. 

Neo will be responsible for building and implementing the strategies of F&N’s food business, the company said. 

Neo has 22 years of extensive experience in the beer, oil and gas, marine and supply chain industries and has held several assignments in Asia, the US and the UK. He held several senior positions in the APB Group where his last role was regional director. Prior to joining F&N, Neo was the CEO of YCH Group.

He will report directly to the F&N board executive committee.

F&N chairman Koh Poh Tiong said that Neo “possesses extensive knowledge of the fast-moving consumer goods industry” and has “operational experience in multiple leadership roles

F&N also revealed the appointment of Edmond Neo as CEO of its beer business, replacing outgoing beer chief executive Prapakon Thongtheppairot.
