Nestle has appointed its lead director in Asia to head up its operations in France.
The world’s largest food maker said yesterday (4 February) that Martial Rolland, who leads the group’s businesses in Africa, the Middle East, Turkey and Pakistan, had been named CEO of Nestle France.
Rolland, 47, has been at Nestle since 1988 and has also had roles in Thailand and India. In 2004, he was appointed to lead Nestle’s businesses in southern Asia, including India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.
The Frenchman replaces Eugenio Minivielle Lagos, who decided to leave Nestle after 17 years to pursue his career elsewhere.
