Kraft Foods has named Jean-Philippe Paré as the president of its French subsidiary, succeeding Bruno Luisetti who has held the post since 2000.

Paré, 52, was previously the group’s vice-president and managing director, of Kraft’s French biscuits division.

Paré joined Danone in 1981, holding a number of positions, including that of vice-president for France, UK and export markets at the French food group’s Lu biscuits business.

He continued in the same role following Kraft’s acquisition of Lu at the end of 2007.

Luisetti, 58, becomes vice-president, sustainable development at Kraft Foods Europe.
