French retailer Guyenne et Gascogne, which operates six franchised Carrefour hypermarkets and 26 Champion supermarkets directly and holds a 50% stake in Sogara, has reiterated a forecast predicting double digit growth in fiscal 2006.


The company said today (16 January) that sales growth slowed to 2% in the fourth quarter from 4.3% in the previous quarter.


Sales in the fourth quarter reached EUR137.2m (US$177.4m), bringing full year net revenues to EUR544.7m, up 4.7% on fiscal 2005’s results.
