FRANCE: Casino may consider certain Ahold assets if for sale
Casino’s co-chief executive, Christian Couvreux, has said the French retailer would consider looking at any assets of Dutch retailer Royal Ahold that were for sale in countries where Casino is already present. "It's a bit early to say, but if there were assets available and we were approached, we would look at them providing they met our strict investment criteria," Couvreux was quoted by Dow Jones News as saying.
