Finnish real estate company Eurogross has announced it will buy an ice cream factory in Jakobstad, western Finland.

The factory is owned by local ice cream manufacturer Sun Ice, a subsidiary of Finnish food group Saarioinen. The price of the deal was not disclosed.

Eurogross said it plans to lease offices within the building to a number of Jakobstad companies that need some extra office space. Chairman Bengt Bjorkskog said that the building is not suitable for ice cream production. It covers some 4000 sq m.
