
French food holding company Financière Turenne Lafayette has announced the appointment of Eric Le Gouvello as its new president following the death of Monique Piffaut earlier this month.
Le Gouvello, 67, currently heads business consultancy Edaxis.
He is also MD of engineering technology firm, Manoir Industries, a senior consultant at business adviser Grant Thornton, president of financial holding company, Financière Goa and president and MD of lighting company Girard Sudron.
Le Gouvello also lectures in sustainable development at French university, Sciences Po Paris.
Piffaut, who died aged 78, was FTL’s founder and sole shareholder.
The company said, according to Piffaut’s wishes, the whole of FTL’s capital will be transferred to a foundation which is in the process of being set up.
