By GlobalDataMcCain’s temporary staff reductions will be made at its facility in Carberry, a town in Canada’s Manitoba province. The business did not disclose how many roles are affected.
In a statement, McCain said sales of products in supermarkets and retailers across Canada “continues to be strong” but added overall demand for its products had been “significantly reduced due to the decline of eating out”.
