Montreal-based food retailing giant Metro has purchased the assets of “Grossiste Sue Shang Inc”, a convenience and small food stores wholesaler in Québec.

The wholesale operations employing 75 people will be maintained in this new division that will be located in the current locations situated in the East of Montréal.
Metro explained that this acquisition will enable it to pursue growth in this geographical market.
