The government minister responsible for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), Lyle Vanclief, has announced the launch of a new newsletter detailing the CFIA’s programmes, services, and the current issues covered by its mandate.

Frontline: Safeguarding Canada’s Food, Animals and Plants will be published by the CFIA three times a year.
Minister Vanclief said: “Frontline is intended to promote better awareness of the Agency’s role in providing services that help protect Canada’s food supply and the health of its animals and plants.
“This initiative represents another example of the Government of Canada continuing to communicate on issues of importance to the everyday lives of Canadians.”
