Boulder Brands has added gluten-free enchiladas and a range of lasagnas to its Evol brand in the US.
The company, owned by Pinnacle Foods after a US$975m takeover last year, said the additions were made with “simple recognisable ingredients you can understand and pronounce [and] demonstrate Evol’s commitment to the food revolution helping to inspire people to care about where their food comes from and how it’s produced”.
“We pride ourselves on our dedication to innovation here at Evol,” said Philip Anson, Evol Foods founder. “We strive to provide our customers with delicious food options and unique flavours that don’t sacrifice nutrition, flavour or convenience. Our new lasagnas and enchiladas are a natural evolution of that innovation.”
The enchiladas are available in chicken or vegetable and are both gluten-free.
The lasagnas, both at 430 calories each, are available in two variants: lasagna and meat sauce or butternut squash.
All four products have an RSP of US$3.99-4.99 and launch nationwide in May.
