Rewe International has signed an agreement to take over Austrian supermarket chain Adeg Österreich Genossenschaft.
The overseas arm of the German retail giant will take over the 25% stake it didn’t own after it acquired 75% of the company’s shares last year.
Adeg is a buying group encompasses 406 shop managers and more than 500 branches in Austria.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
