The proportion of food manufacturers hiring for robotics-related positions rose in June 2022 compared with the equivalent month last year,
Some 26.1% of the companies included in analysis by GlobalData were recruiting for at least one such position.

This latest figure was higher than the 20.8% of companies that were hiring for robotics-related jobs a year ago and an increase compared to the figure of 24.3% in May 2022, GlobalData said.
Robotics is one of the topics that GlobalData has identified as being a key disruptive force facing companies in the coming years. Companies that excel and invest in these areas now are thought to be better prepared for the future business landscape and better equipped to survive unforeseen challenges.
