Computer and Information Analysts Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 28.4% in November 2022, a 43.9% drop over the previous month. Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers came in next, claiming a share of 28.4% in November 2022, marking a 56.6% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Miscellaneous Computer Occupations with a share of 24.69% in November 2022, a 5.26% rise from October 2022.

Top five food companies in Asia-Pacific’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 172.22% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s food industry during November 2022 over previous month.
General Mills posted 14 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered an increase of 250% over the previous month, followed by Nestle with 14 jobs and a 1300% growth. India commanded a leading presence in the region’s food industry IT hiring activity with a 41.98% share in November 2022, a 66.99% decrease over October 2022. Australia featured next with a 16.05% share, up 1200% over the previous month. New Zealand recorded an 11.11% share, a drop of 40% compared with October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.37%, down by 54.4% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 22.22% share, registered a growth of 50% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.41% share, up 50% over October 2022.
