Utah-based whole-foods nutrition company Brain Garden, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Whole Living, has revealed that June was its second consecutive profitable month, on the back of strong sales.
Revenue for June 2002 reached US$716,000, up 14% on the May 2002 figure, which was US$624,000. These figures do not include the previously announced acquisition of Vestrio Corp., the company anticipates that the closing to occur this week.
“We are having a break out year, as we have watched our revenue grow from US$368,000 in January 2002 to US$716,000 now in June,” said COO Doug Burdick: “We expect these numbers to continue to climb in the months ahead, and fully anticipate achieving our previously projected combined revenue for 2002 of US$34.5m and net profit of US$0.12 earnings per share.”
