Hain Celestial has earned the certification of the Non-GMO Project for its range of non-dairy Dream yogurts in the US.

The range, including Almond Dream and Coconut Dream, is on sale with the Non-GMO Project seal on-pack.

“Dream non-dairy yogurts have always been made with high-quality ingredients and the verification from the Non-GMO Project provides an additional level of assurance to our consumers and customers,” Basel Nassar, COO of Hain Celestial’s refrigerated foods division, said.

Nassar added the certification “provides a rigorous approval process from ingredient sourcing through manufacturing to ensure that genetically modified organisms are not intentionally added to products”.

Hain Celestial is among a number of US manufacturers to have sought certification from the Non-GMO Project.

Last month, US snack maker BFY Holdings relaunched some of its products, including PopCorners, under a new umbrella brand made with ingredients verified by the.Non-GMO Project.
