PepsiCo has decided to give its Quaker Oats brand a fresh push in the granola category in the UK.
The company, which sells one Quaker granola product in the country, has created three new ranges.
An oat granola line will contain three flavours – apples and cinnamon; honey and almond; and raisin, which is a rebrand of the existing product. The SKUs have a recommended retail price of GBP2.69 (US$4.11).
A warm and crunchy oat clusters line also has three flavours – apples and cinnamon; golden crunch and cranberry and apple. The cereals are sold in sachets and designed to be microwaved. The products also have an RRP of GBP2.69.
The third set of products – wholesome crunch granola – is a mix of grains, fruits and nuts. PepsiCo has developed two flavours – pecan and brazil nuts; and goji and blueberry flavours. The cereals have an RRP of GBP3.89.
