US meat processor Indiana Packers has announced the acquisition of private label ready-to-eat meats firm Quincy Street for an undisclosed sum.

Michigan-based Quincy Street manufactures products including dinner hams, spiral sliced hams, breakfast sausages, deli meats, speciality toppings and cooked boneless pork loins.

Until now, Indiana Packers has been the key supplier of pork products sold to Quincy Street.

“The acquisition of a value-added customer will strengthen IPC’s business and better enable IPC to weather the cyclical nature of the fresh pork business,” IPC said.
