US spice maker McCormick & Co has announced that it has completed the sale of its packaging business to the Kerr Group for US$142.5m.

Kerr paid $132.5m in cash for the business and will pay the remainder over five years, based on certain performance objectives.
McCormick said it has also entered into a multiyear supply agreement with packaging firm Kerr, reported the Associated Press.
