Japanese retailer Seven & I Holdings has booked an increase in profits for the first nine months of the year.
For the period to the end of November, the firm saw profits soar 30.1% to reach JPY69.3m (US$835.9m). Operating income climbed 3% to JPY170.6m.
Sales, however, edged up by just 0.2% to reach JPY3.81bn.
The firm said it forecasts sales of JPY5.14bn and operating profit of JPY240m for the year ended 28 November.
