French retailer Casino has named Gabriel Naouri as its head of brand, digital and innovation.
Naouri, the son of chief executive Jean-Charles Naouri, joined the retail group in 2007 during which time he held a number of operational positions before being appointed head of the group’s Ile-de-France hypermarket banner in 2010.
The appointment is a sign that retailers and manufacturers are becoming more conscious of the increasing need to connect with consumers across new channels, particularly digital.
