French retail giant Carrefour has teamed up with Disney to launch a range of food for children, dubbed Carrefour Kids.

The retailer will sell around 50 products, including pasta, fromages frais, yoghurt and cereal, in France, Belgium, Spain and Italy.

The companies said the products would meet “established nutritional guidelines”.

Establishing a partnership with The Walt Disney Company, the leading global entertainment family, allows us to combine the strengths of two global brands to positively influence what children eat,” said Christophe Geoffroy, director of sales development and partnerships at Carrefour.

Carrefour faild to return request for further comment as just-food went to press.
