The general director of Russian grocery chain Lenta, Jan Dunning, will leave the company.

The board of directors has appointed Sergei Yuschenko to replace Dunning.

Yuschenko is a Lenta shareholder and has been on the company’s board since 2005. He is currently the general director of Spar Retail in Russia.

Dunning joined Lenta in August 2009 from Metro Group.

According to reports in Kommersant, the move was the result of a dispute between local shareholders and the TPG Capital fund.

The company recently announced plans to double the number of outlets it operates by 2014.
