Vietnam’s largest dairy company Vinamilk has booked a 29.5% year-on-year increase in profits for the seven months to July on the back of revenue gains.
Profits increased to VND812bn (US$49.23m) as sales climbed 27.5% to VND4.77trn.
In an announcement to Vietnam’s stock exchange, Vinamilk said the profits totalled 71.2% of its full-year goal.
The company has previously forecast an 18% increase in full-year net profit to VND1.14trn in 2008.
