In a move that flavourings company Synergy Flavours expects to strengthen its overall product mix across sweet and savoury flavours, Synergy has acquired Vanlab Corporation. The deal gives Synergy a market-leading position in a range of vanilla products.

Vanlab also offers an excellent range of flavours that both complement and extend our overall offer to the market.”
Through the acquisition of Vanlab, Synergy will gain new technologies and widen its customer base, the company said. Although the company will actively seek improvements in efficiencies to better service the customers, business operations at the two locations will remain intact, Synergy added.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
