Confectionery giant Mars has announced plans to rationalise its Christmas offering, reducing the number of products on offer to focus on 13 SKUs.

This Christmas will see the retuen of “a number of old confectionery favourites” as well as some  new additions to the Mars seasonal offering, the company said.


Mars will run 2008’s Maltesers Box TV advert and Celebrations will be promoted with a TV advertising campaign.


Mars also announced plans to launch Maltesers Tree Boxes, in response to “the consumer trend for buying gifts that combine the magic of the season with a favourite chocolate”, the confectioner said.
