Shareholders in US-based Boulder Specialty Brands have approved the previously announced acquisition of GFA Holdings.
The combined entity will operate under the Smart Balance name, Boulder said on Friday (18 May).
GFA Brands manufactures and markets heart-healthy food products including the Smart Balance and Earth Balance brands.
Boulder plans to complete the acquisition of GFA within days, the company said.
