Unilever has sold three brands to Brazilian food group Perdigao, the two companies announced today.
The Anglo-Dutch consumer goods giant has offloaded three brands of margarine to Brazil’s second-largest food processor for an undisclosed sum.
The companies said production of the three brands would continue at Unilever’s plant in Valinhos, a town in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo.
Unilever and Perdigao also plan to join forces on the production and sale of the Becel and Becel ProActiv brands in Brazil.
