Systems Integration Solutions, Inc., and Structure Consulting Group, LLC announced today they have been selected by foodconnex worldwide™, a leading food industry market maker, as integration partners in creating a food industry trading exchange. SIS and SCG will provide consulting services such as strategic, implementation, and reengineering planning, change management, and technical integration planning and execution.

Structure Consulting Group principal Rand Collins says the partnership with foodconnex™ allows his company to expand its e-business expertise to new industries. “Although we’ve focused our resources in the energy industry, we have a vast amount of knowledge about e-business in general,” Collins said. “The opportunity to assist with creating a food industry exchange allows us to diversify as a company and use our expertise in other areas of commerce.”
Commerce One and foodconnex™ announced plans in early May to create a business-to-business e-marketplace for the food industry.
