Grocery wholesaler and retail chain Foodland Associated has revealed that Q3 sales have fallen by 1.3% on the same period last year, and now total A$848.1m. The group believes that the comparability of supermarket sales in Western Australia has been severely affected by the 1 July implementation of a national goods and services tax.
