The Tetra Pak Aseptic Technology Pilot Plant provides customers with complete processing facilities for development of food products from the bench top to full-scale production.

The Tetra Pak Aseptic Technology Pilot Plant is designed to offer maximum flexibility in the development of liquid (primarily aseptic) food products. The pilot plant is capable of handling a wide variety of products including fruit juices, fruit concentrates, wine, soy products, dairy and non-dairy milk, puddings, soups, salad dressings, and many others. Pasteurized, Ultra-pasteurized, and UHT Aseptic processing applications can be accomplished using a variety of processing systems including plates, tubular, and direct heating systems. In addition to heating methods, the Pilot Plant is capable of filter sterilizing and aseptically dosing flavors, enzymes and other minor product components. Once the product is processed, it can be packaged in various types of Tetra Brik(TM) packaging.
Since the pilot plant is a registered food production site, food produced at the facility may be used for product development and consumer testing such as sensory testing, clinical trials, market testing and initial market launches. The facility is also designed with restricted access and all information obtained through experiments and tests at the plant remain confidential.
