Management Occupations drive consumer industry hiring activity
Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Management Occupations, which accounted for 23% of the total new job postings in Q2 2024 and were down by 18% year-on-year. Second highest were Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which accounted for 8% and drop by 7% year-on-year, and third highest were Sales and Related Occupations, which were 16% of the new job postings and 7% lower year-on-year.
Top five companies in consumer industry accounted for 28% of hiring activity
The highest number of jobs were posted by LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton with 71, followed by Compagnie Financiere Richemont with 46, while the highest increase was at Chanel at 54%.
