Hungarian canned food manufacturer Globus has announced the appointment of Imre Eperjesi as the company’s chief executive officer.
Eperjesi, who currently holds the position of deputy chief, will replace Ferenc Kuti who is due to retire in May after 41 years with the company. Kuti is to continue working with the company as a consultant.
The company also expanded its board from three to five members, adding production director Zsolt Kovacs and commercial director Zeno Temesfoi to the board.
Globus also said it had won shareholder approval for an increase in its 2002 dividend by nearly 80% to 100 forints (US$0.45) per share, reported Reuters.
