Indykpol SA, a listed Polish poultry producer, has revealed plans to move into a Russian meat plant in the Kaliningrad region, and launch production on the Russian market.
A company spokesperson told the Rzeczpospolita paper yesterday [Monday] that officials are in discussion with a potential, and as yet unnamed, business partner.
In 2001, Indykpol generated revenue of 75m Polish zloty (US$18.9m) through the export of about 15% of its products, the majority of which go to the Russian market.
