Church Dwight and General Mills topped the list of major food companies hiring for roles linked to cybersecurity so far in 2023, data suggests.
The US companies had the most cybersecurity-related jobs open for application among food manufacturers, GlobalData, Just Food’s parent, said.
From 1 January and 7 August, Church Dwight, which has supplements brands including Vitafusion and Lil’ Critters in its portfolio, had 148 ‘active’ positions in the field. It was followed by General Mills with 105 roles and Taiwan-based Lien Hwa Industrial Corp. with 86.
GlobalData’s job analytics database tracks daily job postings across multiple industries, including consumer goods. As part of the research and intelligence company’s analysis, it groups jobs by theme, providing an indication of where businesses are focusing their hiring efforts.
Meal-kit business Marley Spoon (with 65 jobs) came next. Germany’s Dr Oetker followed with 33.
