Campbell Soup Company has announced that Arthur B Anderson is being appointed senior vice president-global research & development and quality, effective 8 June 2005. Anderson will report to Carl Johnson, senior vice president and chief strategy officer.

Anderson brings to Campbell more than 30 years of experience in R&D and operations at leading consumer products companies, including PepsiCo, Kraft Foods, and Procter & Gamble.
“As we move ahead with Campbell’s revitalization, Arthur’s role will be to build on the excellent work that has been done in R&D and to lead his team in executing the plan for driving quality growth,” said Johnson “He will help Campbell leverage its major growth platforms, continue to enhance the quality of Campbell products and packaging worldwide, and advance our innovation initiatives.”
