November 2022 has seen a decrease of 7.69% in the overall hiring activity when compared with October 2022.
IT jobs accounted for a 3.2% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in November 2022, registering an increase of 0.14% over the last three-month average share.
Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations leads by classification in November 2022
Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 36.18% in November 2022, a 6.78% drop over the previous month. Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers came in next, claiming a share of 28.29% in November 2022, marking a 16.22% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Computer and Information Analysts with a share of 16.45% in November 2022, a 78.57% rise from October 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 33.8% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s food industry during November 2022 over previous month.
Cherkizovo Group posted 24 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered an increase of 33.33% over the previous month, followed by Unibel with 24 jobs and a 20% drop. Ferrero International with 20 IT jobs and Nestle with 14 jobs, recorded an 81.82% rise and a 100% rise, respectively, while Mars recorded a 160% increase with 13 job postings during November 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s food industry
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s food industry IT hiring activity with a 22.37% share in November 2022, a 2.86% decrease over October 2022. France featured next with a 21.05% share, down 17.95% over the previous month. Russia recorded a 17.11% share, a growth of 44.44% compared with October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 82.89%, up by 3.28% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 10.53% share, registered a decline of 23.81% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.58% share, down 9.09% over October 2022.
