Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers came in next, claiming a share of 29.91% in October 2022, marking a 28.89% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 18.69% in October 2022, a 20% drop from September 2022.

Top five food companies in Asia-Pacific’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 24.51% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s food industry during October 2022 over previous month.
Charoen Pokphand Foods Public posted 37 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a decline of 51.32% over the previous month, followed by McCain Foods with 23 jobs and a flat growth. Unternehmensgruppe Theo Muller S.e.c.s. with 7 IT jobs and a2 MilkLtd with 5 jobs, recorded a 41.67% drop and a flat growth, respectively, while Masan Group recorded a 64.29% decline with 5 job postings during October 2022.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s food industry IT hiring activity with a 64.49% share in October 2022, a 28.87% decrease over September 2022. New Zealand featured next with a 14.02% share, up 400% over the previous month. Thailand recorded a 7.48% share, a drop of 20% compared with September 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 86.92%, down by 22.5% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 10.28% share, registered a growth of 10% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 2.8% share, up 200% over September 2022.
